Arenal Paraiso Resort Spa & Thermo Mineral Hot Springs, La Fortuna

This resort has stunning grounds and a lovely atmosphere, making it a nice place to stay. However, my experience was somewhat overshadowed by the loud music from the outdoor bar, which continued late into the night and made it hard to relax. The customer service provided by Joshey was exceptional, which was a definite highlight. Overall, while I appreciated the beauty of the resort and the impressive service, the noise issue was a significant drawback for me.

The resort offered nice views of the volcano and plenty of space to unwind. The breakfast was enjoyable, and the staff was quite friendly in most areas. However, the front desk service felt somewhat lacking, especially regarding strict policies and limited flexibility. The gym's operating hours were inconvenient for those exploring during the day, making it hard to utilize that facility.

I recently stayed in a wooden chalet overlooking a volcano and adjacent to the jungle, which was a beautiful setting. The hot springs were an interesting experience, although some could be better maintained. The rooms were spacious and comfortable but could use some updates. Breakfast was decent with a good variety, but dining in the evening didn't quite measure up. Overall, the place has potential, but there are several areas that need attention.
